George Ezra - 'Green Green Grass' Single Review

George Ezra, from Hertford in Hertfordshire, has released his newest single, entitled Green Green Grass. He took these words from a notebook which he had kept during a holiday with some close friends.

Much like his previous single, Anyone For You (Tiger Lily), the first from his third studio album, Gold Rush Kid, Green Green Grass is chock full-a songs which just scream summer! He will play Boardmasters Festival this year, and I can imagine the two aforementioned songs being the highlight of his set. They are phenomenal and catchy, and everything that a summer single should be.

When I saw George Ezra perform in March at the London Palladium, it was the first time that he had played Green Green Grass live, and the response which he received was astounding. It was almost definitely the one that he was hoping for. He got the audience singing along to the chorus, and lapped up their praises for it. It is definitely one of the best new songs that I have heard so far this year, and I think should have been the first single released as I like it more than Anyone For You.
